Doretta Schrock

Doretta Schrock is a longtime activist who served as the chair of Kenton Neighborhood Association before becoming a member of the NPNS staff. She currently serves as project manager for the Historic Kenton Firehouse, NPNS/City budget policy, and new community building initiatives. She provides staff support to the North Portland Parks Committee and to North Portland Clean-ups.

Tom Griffin-Valade

Director NPNS

Tom Griffin-Valade serves as the Director of NPNS serving 11 North/Northeast Neighborhood Associations, North Portland Neighborhood Services, Inc., and North Portland Community Works and its Family of Community Building Programs. He has spent over 30 years serving community groups and has been with North Portland Neighborhood Services from its inception over 21 years ago.

Mary Jaron Kelley

Associate Program Director

M-Th 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m./variable

Mary Jaron Kelley serves as the Associate Program Director for NPNS. She began her work with NPNS fifteen years ago as a University Park resident engaged in combatting graffiti and has since facilitated many of the NPNS district’s most important projects. She provides staff support to the district wide land-use committee, North Portland Land-Use Group and to the NPNS Grant Program.

Marci Macfarlane

Marci Macfarlane is the face that greets the 4500 members of the North Portland Tool Library community. As the North Portland Tool Library Coordinator, she can be found checking out tools, organizing, cleaning tools, and giving members advice.

Cindy Robbins

Variable hours/part-time

Cindy Robbins  coordinates event scheduling and is the onsite staff for events at the Historic Kenton Firehouse. She is on hand to welcome Firehouse renters and helps ensure that the events at the Historic Kenton Firehouse meet good neighbor standards.
